The brief
The existing shop still had to trade. The new side had to be built and fitted without turning the original unit into a site.
Scope of works
- Opening-up between adjacent units
- Structural and services work sequenced around trading
- New retail floor, joinery and refrigeration positions
- Planning and building control as part of the job
Outcome
A larger trading floor as one job, with the original unit protected while the new side was built.
